The therapists at the Fredericton Wellness Clinic are all members of professional massage therapy associations, and as such meet stringent ethical and educational standards. Maurice Lavigne, BA, RMT, QI, C. Ac., Qi Healer
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree Maurice Lavigne worked first as a newspaper reporter and then as manager in marketing, communications and information technology. He has been a Registered Massage Therapist and Qi Gong instructor for 12 years. He has been teaching the marital art of Aikido for over 25 years and has given a number of presentations on Stress Management to government departments, public school teachers and non-profit groups. As a therapist, Maurice applies a multi-level approach to treatment that focuses on Acupressure, Acupuncture, Remedial Exercises and Qi Gong Energy Therapy.
Louise Gosselin, BA, Esthetician, Aromatherapist
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Louise taught French to federal and provincial public servants. She has been working at the Wellness Clinic for over five years. She is part owner of the clinic and specializes in holistic esthetics and aromatherapy.
Louise is in the process of introducing a new line of cosmetics free from synthetics. ‘So many people suffer from allergies,’ Louise said. “All natural skin care products are the trend. We will offer an all-natural approach to esthetics.’”
Louise has successfully completed studies in infection control and podology. She offers a number of specialized body wraps, facials and pedicures. Her approach to client care is very personalized and client centered.
Christine Spenser, RMT
pleased to announce the arrival of a new massage therapist at our facility. Christine Spenser, RMT, is from St. Louis-de-Kent, N.B. She graduated from Kiné Concept Institute in 2005 and worked at local Spa before moving to the Wellness Clinic.
Christine is well liked by clients and is rapidly building up an impressive list of patients. She has a unique ability to go to the root of problems affecting her patients and gives heart and soul to the effort. Welcome Christine. |
